BUFORD - Microsoft filed a lawsuit, for trademark infringement and copyright of the companies that sell PCs, computer equipment and software, based in Buford, Georgia, United States (U.S.), VertexPC. It was revealed in a document submission of a lawsuit in district court Atlanta, U.S..
Reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Saturday (06/07/2013), Microsoft has been accused VertexPC advertise, market, install, offers, and distribute copies of Microsoft software illegally.
This is not the first time Microsoft filed lawsuits against companies that claimed to have violated the company's copyright. In May, Microsoft sued software company from Atlanta, Ebix, with claims violated copyright and license contracts Microsoft products.
For cases with VertexPC, Microsoft has warned the company last December.
The VertexPC who stood since 1999 not only provide computer equipment, but also sells hardware and software. Moreover, the company also provides consulting services to a number of financial institutions and has a well-known clients such as Coca-Cola, as well as educational institutions and U.S. healthcare.
